Why and how we measure? Height

What is height? It is a distance between bottom to the top. Last week we learned that to measure things people use a ruler or measuring tape, but in times when measuring tools are not available people use something else-  shoes, feet, paper clip or Lego.  We call them nonstandard measurements. There are some rules which we follow when we use nonstandard measurements. We use only one kind of items in a time to measure things. Other rule is we can't leave any space between nonstandard units in order to get accurate measurements.
Friends measured the height of the table. It is 27 lego pieces high. Everyone was curious to find our how tall they are. Everyone made a predection how many lego pieces he or she is tall. Below you can see the Pre-K Friends Measurement Chart.

That is how we measured our height.
